TIGERS Myrtle Beach Safari offers Essay Contest

Monthly Contest Winner and Family Receive a FREE Wild Encounters Tour!

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C., May 24, 2017 – T.I.G.E.R.S. Myrtle Beach Safari offers a way for families to learn more about wildlife conservation and experience a free Myrtle Beach Safari Wild Encounters Tour, with a winning essay selected by T.I.G.E.R.S. staff each month of its 34th season.

“We at T.I.G.E.R.S. live and breathe for these animals. We devote our entire lives to the care and maintenance of these unbelievable creatures,” says Doc Antle, founder and director of T.I.G.E.R.S. Myrtle Beach Safari. “This isn’t our job; it’s our lifestyle. We also realize we’ve been given an incredible gift, and we hope that more families will have the opportunity to learn and be transformed by this once-in-a-lifetime experience.”

Here’s how the essay contest works: For those who want to get up-close-and-personal with the safari’s tiger cubs, apes, wolf pups and more, but cannot make the $299 admission meet their budget, they can instead submit a 5- to 10-page essay for a chance to win a free tour for the writer and his/her family. The essay will reflect the winner’s reactions to a specific list of environmental films and books listed at https://myrtlebeachsafari.com/myrtle-beach-safari-essay-contest/, with thoughts and solutions on wildlife conservation and our planet’s future.

After essays are submitted via mail, T.I.G.E.R.S. staff will select a winning essay (and family) each month. Only one essay per entrant may be mailed in each month; however, each essay may be entered more than once throughout the season.
